It’s the perfect formula for a new festival: Bid farewell to glorious summer, and usher in autumn’s splendour! Families, neighbours, friends near and far, everyone is invited to celebrate the change of seasons with an exciting new tradition at the Great Canadian Barn Dance:

Summer’s End Harvest Festival. September 28, 2012 1:00pm - 11:30pm

gcbd-harvest1The fun begins at 1:00 pm with a mouth-watering Ice Cream Social and a toe tapping, Jam Session. Guests of all ages are invited to participate in potato sack races, an old fashioned tug-of-war, a Scare Crow Beauty Pageant, and a Corn-Shucking Contest. Visit Granny’s (newly remodelled) gift shop and Tea House or simply grab a coffee and stroll through the bountiful isles of our very own Farmer’s Market. Take in a little Quilt Tying, or enjoy gorgeous scenery while you bump along on our famous Hay Rides. Get your fill of savoury beef at our Roast Beef Dinner Buffet and then prepare for the perfect end to a great season: Barn Dance! Featuring the ever-popular Barn Dance All Star Band.
